ARPA has actively participated in the SME Week in Aragon, a key event for the region's industrial ecosystem, which addressed the challenges and opportunities of strategic sectors such as the defence industry, cybersecurity and dual technologies. Organised by the Directorate General for SMEs and the Self-Employed of the Government of Aragon, together with the Aragonese Development Institute (IAF) and the AERA cluster, the event brought together leading companies, academic institutions and military commanders in a space for reflection and cooperation.
During the round table entitled ‘Defence Industry in Aragon’, our General Manager, César Fernández, represented ARPA, sharing the company's vision and commitment to innovation, quality and the development of advanced technological capabilities. In his speech, he highlighted the differential value of ARPA: a company with Aragonese DNA, which has been able to consolidate itself as a key player in integral solutions for critical sectors, maintaining the highest quality standards and continuously betting on R&D&I, internationalisation and customer service.
ARPA's participation in this forum underlines its role within the dual ecosystem, where both civilian and military capabilities converge to respond to current security, logistics and resilience challenges. The event was also an opportunity to strengthen public-private partnerships and to highlight the importance of collaboration between SMEs, armed forces and knowledge centres as a way to guarantee Aragon's technological sovereignty and industrial competitiveness in the national and European context.
In ARPA we reaffirm our vocation to continue contributing to the progress of a strategic sector, promoting innovative and sustainable solutions that generate value from Aragon to the world.
