THE WAVE: DRIVING ENERGY FUTURES AND SUSTAINABLE REINDUSTRIALISATION

Yesterday, our Director of New Developments participated in The Wave, a reference event in the energy sector held in Zaragoza, where he had the opportunity to present, in the Lunar Lab space, the most recent advances of our company in the energy field.

As part of the programme, our representative took part in the round table entitled ‘New energies, the key to sustainable and fair reindustrialisation’, a space for debate in which the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition in the industrial context were analysed. He was joined by renowned experts from the sector:

  • Natalia Latorre, Director General of Energy Transition
  • Ramón White, Project Manager at Enel Green Power
  • Rafael Calvera, President of Calvera Hydrogen
  • Maribel Rodríguez, Director of Hydrogen at REPSOL

A Key Debate for the Energy Future

During the roundtable, speakers addressed key issues for the future of industry and energy, highlighting the need to move towards more sustainable and resilient models. The crucial role of renewable energy, green hydrogen and other emerging technologies in transforming the industrial fabric and reducing the carbon footprint was discussed.

In addition, the impact of the energy transition on business competitiveness, employment generation and the need to establish appropriate regulatory frameworks to encourage investment in new technologies was analysed. One of the key points of the debate was the challenge of ensuring a fair and balanced reindustrialisation, in which all regions and sectors can benefit from the shift to cleaner energy sources.

Our Commitment to Innovation and Sustainability

Participation in this type of forum reinforces our commitment to innovation and the development of energy solutions that contribute to a more sustainable and efficient future. We are actively working on the implementation of advanced technologies to optimise energy consumption, reduce emissions and promote industrial competitiveness in an increasingly demanding environment.

We will continue to support research, collaboration and the promotion of projects to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable, fair and competitive energy model. Events such as The Wave are a key platform for exchanging knowledge, generating strategic alliances and contributing to the construction of a more responsible and efficient energy future.
