 Water and Sanitation

Water, as a necessary and scarce natural resource, requires a high degree of specialisation in order to optimise it to the maximum.

That is why at ARPA we design and manufacture all the components of the water cycle.

The systems of:

  • Recruitment
  • Storage
  • PotabWater purificationilización
  • Generation
  • Distribution
  • Collection
  • Wastewater treatment

They are specifically designed for each need in order to optimise this valuable resource.

Integrated Water Management Solutions

At ARPA, thanks to our experience in the sector, we offer innovative and efficient solutions for the management of water in all its phases, optimising its use in different environments.

WATER COLLECTION AND GENERATION

ARPAQUA Atmospheric Water Generators

Objectives: To provide an alternative source of drinking water in areas where obtaining this natural resource is a real challenge due to its scarcity.

Description: Design and development of different models of atmospheric water generating equipment, based on a process of research and development of technologies to condense water vapour contained in the air, using thermodynamic cycles with mechanical refrigeration and electronic control systems.

WATER PURIFICATION

ARPOT Water Purification Plant

Objectives: To cover the drinking water needs generated in an emergency situation by means of an easily transportable, rapidly deployable, electrically autonomous water treatment plant, capable of making any type of water drinkable instantaneously.

Description: Design and manufacture of the 100th functional prototype of a new water treatment plant for any type of water, including seawater, using high-pressure membranes. Incorporation of photovoltaic panels for electrical autonomy and a brine-based chlorine generator to eliminate additional consumables and chemicals.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT

Wastewater Treatment Plant ARPA WWTP

Objectives: To provide a rapid, economical and sustainable solution in developing or rural areas where there is no adequate waste treatment network, protecting the environment and the health of the population.

Description: Design and manufacture of a working prototype of a wastewater treatment plant, consisting of a three-compartment septic tank where solids are decanted and anaerobic digestion takes place, without the need for electricity or chemicals. The plant is integrated into an ISO 20 container that includes all water inlets and outlets, as well as ventilation ducts, eliminating the need to bury the plant.

HYDROPONIC GARDENS

Hydroponics Project Cultivation Module

Objectives: To address the problems of malnutrition caused by lack of food in developing areas or in emergency situations, through cultivation modules that enable local people to easily grow and preserve nutrient-rich plant products.

Description: Modular construction with the installation of different hydroponic systems for indoor cultivation, with temperature and humidity control by means of an air conditioning and ventilation system to maintain optimal climatic conditions. It also has polycarbonate windows in walls and ceilings that allow natural light to reach the plants.
