ARPA LEADS THE DIALOGUE ON SOCIAL IMPACT AND SUSTAINABILITY IN ‘COMPANIES WITH VALUES’

On 25 March, our General Manager, César Fernández, had the privilege of representing ARPA at the inspiring meeting ‘Companies with VALUES’, held at the premises of La Mafia se sienta a la Mesa in Zaragoza. This event, organised with the aim of promoting dialogue and collaboration between companies committed to sustainability and social impact, brought together leaders from various sectors to explore how organisations can transcend a purely economic focus and contribute significantly to the well-being of society.

César Fernández shared the stage with prominent representatives of companies such as Adiego Medioambiente, Grupo La Mafia se sienta a la Mesa, Grupo San Valero, OESIA and Tranvías Zaragoza, under the expert moderation of Juan Royo, an economist specialising in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. The debate centred on the importance of integrating solid values into the business model, emphasising how collaboration and leadership in sustainable initiatives can have a positive impact on the community.

At ARPA, we firmly believe that profitability and values are not antagonistic concepts, but rather that they complement and reinforce each other. During the event, César Fernández shared our company's experience in developing innovative solutions that address social and environmental challenges, from the deployment of modular field hospitals in conflict zones to the implementation of Green Hydrogen technologies to drive the energy transition.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the recording of a compilation video, in which participants answered key questions about their business model and their commitment to sustainability. César Fernández contributed ARPA's vision of how innovation and social responsibility can go hand in hand, highlighting initiatives such as:

  • The deployment of the field hospital in Ukraine: An example of how the experience of our organisation can save lives in conflict and emergency situations.
  • The collaboration with ‘Cocineros en Acción’: An initiative that demonstrates our commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in situations such as DANA.
  • The development of modular classrooms: An innovative solution to guarantee educational continuity in crisis situations.
  • Nutrition Camps in Guatemala: A project that seeks to improve the nutrition and well-being of children and families in disadvantaged areas.
  • Rapid response units like that of Diego González Rivas: they make it possible to offer immediate healthcare in areas where technology is difficult to access.
  • The push for green hydrogen technology: A commitment to clean, sustainable energy that can transform industry and mobility.

The ‘Companies with VALUES’ event was a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and establish alliances with other organisations committed to building a more sustainable and equitable future. At ARPA, we are proud to have participated in this inspiring dialogue and we reaffirm our commitment to continue working to generate a positive impact on society.

We would like to thank the organisers, the participants and the sponsor, COLORIURIS, for making this meeting possible.
