CLARA ARPA INAUGURATES MOVERS 2025 BY STRESSING THAT SUSTAINABILITY IS THE KEY TO BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS

Madrid, May 2025 - The emblematic Florida Park has once again witnessed an essential event for responsible leadership: the second edition of the Movers for Sustainability event, which brought together more than 300 professionals committed to sustainable development. On this occasion, the event was opened by our CEO, Clara Arpa, who also serves as president of the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact.

Sustainability as a driver of resilience and progress

During her speech, Clara Arpa underlined the urgency of moving towards sustainable competitiveness, where business resilience and adaptability are essential in an increasingly complex global environment. In her own words:

"Sustainability is no longer an option, it is a strategic necessity. It is the way to create long-term value, foster social cohesion and protect our environment".

These words set the tone for the meeting, reinforcing the role of the business sector as a key player in building a fairer, more inclusive future aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A space for collaboration and innovation

Movers 2025 has established itself as the main meeting point for those leading sustainability in their organisations. During the event, attendees explored the current international context, shared best practices, and established new strategic alliances. The event thus became a high-impact platform for exchanging experiences, promoting innovative solutions and strengthening sustainable leadership.

At ARPA, we welcome this type of initiative that reaffirms our commitment to the 2030 Agenda and to a way of doing business that puts people and the planet at the centre.
