TEMPEST Protected Shelter
Objectives: To provide solutions to the need to protect extremely confidential data handled by some institutions, developing armoured shelters to protect the communications systems inside them.
Description: Design, development and manufacture of the 100th functional prototype of a high-capacity tactical shelter system, consisting of a lightweight aluminium structure that attaches to an off-road vehicle, with EMI/EMC (electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic compatibility) protection to house the communications systems and confidential data of different institutions. Attenuation tests on the prototype and award of TEMPEST certification by the Spanish National Cryptology Centre.
Project development level: TRL 6 - Manufacture of a first functional prototype and laboratory tests.
ARPA RIM Sensorisation and Monitoring Network
Objectives: To generate added value in ARPA solutions, obtaining more information about them through data monitoring systems that provide greater security control and facilities in the assembly, deployment and maintenance processes.
Description: Development of a wireless network of hardware devices to which sensors are connected to collect the signals to be measured. The devices connect via Wi-Fi to a ‘device’ responsible for sending this information to the Internet. The sensors take measurements of digital and analogue signals such as temperature, humidity, pressure, presence, etc., in ARPA solutions. The information sent by the sensors is monitored from an application accessible from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Project development level: TRL 6 - Manufacture of a first functional prototype and tests in a real environment.
