H2 DISPENSED ON ALSA BUSES
ALSA has signed a strategic contract for the provision of hydrogen dispensing services at ARPA facilities, taking advantage of the high-flow dispenser designed by ARPA. This collaboration is a significant step towards the implementation of sustainable urban mobility, especially through ALSA's first regular hydrogen bus line, which operates on the Zaragoza airport line passenger service. Thanks to ARPA's advanced technology, 100% satisfactory dispensing rates have been achieved, providing several days of autonomy for the buses.
The energy transition towards hydrogen-powered urban mobility is crucial to address current environmental challenges, and ARPA is leading this transformation. By integrating hydrogen as an alternative fuel, dependence on fossil fuels is being reduced and polluting emissions are being lowered, thus contributing to a cleaner and healthier urban environment.
This progress not only improves air quality in cities, but also promotes economic sustainability, creating an ecosystem that favours innovation and the development of suitable infrastructures for hydrogen.
ARPA is positioning itself as a pioneer in this shift towards a more sustainable future, developing modular and efficient solutions for hydrogen dispensing. With a high-pressure dispensing capacity that varies between 75% and 100%, ARPA guarantees a reliable supply for hydrogen vehicles, facilitating the adoption of this technology by transport companies such as ALSA. As we move towards cleaner urban mobility, ARPA is committed to continuing to promote research and development in the field of hydrogen, ensuring that cities can enjoy the benefits of efficient, sustainable and accessible transport.
